About
Hi, I'm Lydia Lapinski aka Thoughts Make Things, I'm an illustrator, art director and designer based in Sheffield UK. My aim is to bring play and wonder to every project I'm involved in, making the basic beautiful, the mundane magical and the superfluous simple.
I work both with my own clients and as a support to agencies on a freelance basis. I have over 15 years experience working as a Creative Director, Art Director and Head of Design for advertising agencies, design agencies and in house for brands.
I've been lucky enough to produce work for television, arts, culture, advertising, theatre, festivals, food, computer games, cinema, education, beauty, electronics, charities, councils, universities, music, publishing, fitness, toys and fashion.
In my spare time I also co-host the Sheffield branch of Ladies Wine Design and am an associate lecturer in Graphic Design at Sheffield Hallam University.
